Air Freight Forwarder

Location Schiphol – Full-time

Your tasks

• Handling and managing air freight shipments in our system.
• Coordinating transport to and from airports worldwide, including customs formalities.
• Maintaining contact with customers, airlines and other logistics service providers.
• Responding proactively to delays or other issues and offering solutions.
• Monitoring shipments and ensuring timely delivery, including track-and-trace updates.
• Working with internal teams and external partners to guarantee optimal service.

Is this you?

• Vocational (MBO) working and thinking level.
• Experience in air freight/logistics is an advantage.
• In possession of a Certificate of Conduct (VGB).
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of a third language is a plus.
• Accurate and able to work under pressure, with problem-solving skills.
• Experience with air freight systems (for example Scope) or willingness to learn them quickly.
• Team player with a hands-on mentality and customer-focused attitude.
• Able to work independently, with a sense of responsibility towards the organisation and a customer-focused attitude.
• Quick to master office software and IT applications.

As an Air Freight Forwarder at GD-iTS, you are responsible for efficiently organising and coordinating air freight shipments. You are a link between customers, airlines and other logistics partners. From handling shipments to solving unexpected challenges: your efforts ensure a flawless transport process.
