Your tasks

• Entering and managing transport orders in the system.
• Planning, allocating and supervising trips (own fleet and external carriers).
• Providing customers with clear and correct information by phone and email.
• Maintaining intensive contact with drivers, both nationally and internationally.
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks and delays in the transport process.
• Contributing ideas to and taking part in improvement projects.
• Working with internal teams and external partners for optimal results.

Is this you?

• Several years of experience in a similar position in transport or logistics.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English (German is an advantage).
• Resilience to stress and the ability to perform under pressure.
• A proactive attitude and real team spirit.

As an International Transport Planner at G. van Doesburg Transport, you make sure that transport to Germany and France runs efficiently and smoothly. You are the linchpin between customers, drivers and partners and play a key role in the entire logistics process.

In this position, you are responsible for planning, coordinating and optimising international transport. From order processing to resolving unexpected situations: you keep the overview and make sure everything runs smoothly.
