All-round (Apprentice) Mechanic

Zaltbommel, 40 hours (32 hours for BBL apprentices)

Do you have a passion for technology and want to work in a modern workshop where no two days are the same? Then this is your chance! We are looking for an All-round Mechanic to strengthen our team, even if you are still in training through a BBL (work-based learning) programme.

What will you be doing?

As a mechanic, you work in our own workshop on the maintenance and repair of our logistics fleet, as well as vehicles of external customers. Think of trucks, trailers and internal transport equipment. You resolve faults, carry out inspections and make sure everything remains safe and ready for use.

Are you a BBL apprentice? Then you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience with us under the guidance of experienced colleagues. You will grow in the trade step by step.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Locating and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Checking and adjusting technical systems.
• (If qualified) carrying out MOT inspections and other legally required checks.
• Fitting, removing and replacing parts.
• Contributing to a tidy, safe and well-organised workshop.
• Assisting with breakdowns or emergency repairs on the road if needed.

What we ask

• You have completed or are following a vocational (MBO) programme in automotive or commercial vehicle technology (BBL level 2, 3 or 4).
• You have technical insight and enjoy working with your hands.
• Driving licence B (C is an advantage).
• You are eager to learn, accurate and a hands-on person.
• Experience is a bonus, but enthusiasm and motivation are just as important!
