Team Leader Warehouse Logistics (Day Shift)

Zaltbommel, 40 hours

As Team Leader Warehouse Logistics, you lead around 10 to 12 logistics employees in the warehouse every day. You make sure the planning is followed, keep an eye on the progress of the work and step in immediately when needed. You are the fixed point of contact on the work floor and bring people together. You know what is going on, you stand alongside your colleagues and get the team moving. With a positive attitude and a hands-on approach, you create a good atmosphere and strong teamwork.

Your tasks

• Coaching, developing and guiding team members.
• Daily management of the logistics team (10-12 FTE).
• You make sure the work is carried out efficiently and quality is maintained.
• You work closely with various departments, such as transport and our warehouse office.
• Drawing up and monitoring the capacity planning.
• Contributing ideas for process improvements.
• Coordinating and optimising our logistics processes based on the daily planning.
• You take part in daily and weekly work meetings.
• You ensure a good handover of work between the different shifts.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and company regulations.

This is a hands-on position: as team leader, you help out wherever needed.

Is this you

• A completed vocational (MBO level 4) qualification or 2 to 3 years of experience in logistics.
• Demonstrable experience in managing logistics teams.
• You know what is going on on the work floor and switch effortlessly between people and processes.
• Knowledge of logistics processes and supply chain.
• You know how to motivate people and how to hold them accountable.
• You take ownership and think in solutions.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Strong communication skills, analytical and decisive.
• Hands-on mentality and a feel for collaboration at a strategic level.
• Forklift and reach truck experience.
